I spent two weeks of absolute heaven in Burnett County. Catching fish everyday. Lots of times on the very first cast. Used. black spinner baits and and newly acquired item for the tackle box a black weed walker - which attracted anything from a citation sunny to many 3-4 lb bass as well as a 38" Northern weighing around 8 lbs. and lots of smaller ones. caught so many I lost count.
Found a great boat dealer at Webb Lake Marine Also. I got a great deal on a deep v to compliment my triton 176 here in va.

Hello-I have been visiting the Burnett Co area for 10 years. I go up-from Illinois-in mid-May for the great crappie fishing and in late September for panfish, bass, and northern. I have always stayed at Rosenthal's Resort on Webb Lake.John and Maria are wonderful hosts. They have a beautiful facility with limited public lake access.Fequently, we only see one or two boats, if any. From the resort's boat ramp, you have access to both Upper and Lower Webb Lakes. I highly recommend Rosenthal's to anyone who asks about good accommodations in that area. Have a look at their website-www.rosenthal'sresort.com. Maybe we'll see you there sometime. Good fishing. Rick
