First I would like to thank BC for adding this forum to our web site.

The purpose of this forum is for all of us to share information.  My hopes are that we can all keep each other up to date with up coming events like Casting Kids, Youth Tournament results, news and changes for national events, etc.  Please post anything that you feel is pertinent to the youth organizations.  If you have something you would like posted and are not sure, forward the information to me at my email address and I will figure something out with BC's help.  I would also like to start a discussion group in this forum for ideas and concerns for the up and soon arriving season.  I have a few ideas and I will start the discussion with those, and feel free to pick it apart, add, delete, or what ever.  My hopes are to make this State Youth Program better every year and I will not be able to do it alone.  I need everyones help.  As the saying goes, "My door is always open", I just don't get very much company so lets hear from all of you and get started on next year.  Happy Holidays to all

I am excited about this new youth forum and the enthusiasm of our new Youth Director Todd. I would like to welcome and encourage all youth members to utilize this forum Todd has set up for you. This youth forum is a great place for youth bass fishermen to ask questions and learn form some of the most experienced adult members in the state so bring on the questions!

It's not a My Space but it could be just as fun.

Here are a couple photos of two of my boys.

Good luck and I look forward to reading what is on your minds!

Thank you Todd, for all you are doing for us, the kids. I'm extremely excited to begin fishing these tournaments next year and I look forward to improving what they were for the short two events that we had this year. Maybe sometime we can get out again, just for a fun day on the water. You know where to find me.

Thanks,

Cade

Hey Cade...welcome to the site! Hopefully we'll be expand on what was offered to our Youth last year, giving you guys more opportunities to fish tournaments and also learn from the adult clubs.

I am also looking forward to hearing your reports and stories.

I am the assistant youth director in Va.
We are sponsoring an invitational tournament for youth in July. "a six man team" to represent individual State youth programs. This will be held on the Potomac river near D.C. It would be a great trip for some kids from your area. Come fish and see the sites in Va. "D.C. attractions" "Jamestown" first colony, Atlantic beaches, and Blue Ridge Mt.s.
