Sponsor Highlights & News | Message | Logos With Links to Sponsor Sites Sponsor Chairman’s Message Well it happened, bass fishing has officially gone mainstream and for some it’s been a long wait to finally see our favorite pastime broadcast world wide on a regular basis, and for others it signals change that reflects today’s fast paced corporate lifestyles. A change that is quite different than the humble beginnings some 30+ years ago. The Bass Anglers Sportsman Society that has created what we are today has evolved into a tournament organization while still maintaining its commitment to youth and conservation. The Bubba factor is gone and there are some new kids in town that are not afraid to jump into the sandlot with us. With all these big changes and competition, we also must also change some of the ways we do business. I know what you’re thinking “business”, how does that fit into the fishing, fun, and family mindset that has existed since the early days of B.A.S.S.. Well, it’s all still there with many new opportunities to go with the strong foundation so many have struggled to create. Here in Wisconsin we just need to adjust the way we view and run our business a bit. In order to maintain our organization grow our membership, expand our youth and conservation commitment, we must raise more funds and rely more heavily on our partners and sponsors who also demonstrate there commitment and shared values when they choose to support us. So, when you see their logos or ads on the website, in newsletters or at tournaments, show your appreciation and send them a brief thank you. If you have an opportunity to meet them or stop in their place of business, introduce yourself and shake their hand and say hello.
