In case there is a question about whether it is ethical to bring a GPS with you when fishing a state tournament or other pro-am style event without discussing it with your boater first let me explain. IT IS NOT FRICKING COOL!!! I am still ticked off at myself for not grabbing it and throwing it directly into the lake.

It is understandable to want one so when you have your 4 hours and you have spots to go to you can find them. To bring one in the boat though and not ASK or completely discuss when and where you will have it on is complete BS.

We had that problem in our club... Almost cost us a few boaters over that deal.
