This is where the big ones live. This is one of the 9 we caught. They are surprisingly easy to catch this time of year.
Just have to dig through 3 feet of ice!

Wow...that's a nice smallie. What were you using to catch those...hair jigs? I can't say that I've ever targeted smallies through the ice.
